GAUGN

The main difference of GAUGN from other Russian universities is the permanent presence of academic science in the university education, which gives the students an opportunity to immerse themselves in the academic world, listen to lectures of the leading Russian scientists with world names and take part in scientific events and projects themselves from the 1st year.

The small number of courses allows the university to provide an individual approach to every student and form the educational process, taking into account the interests of students, the needs of Russian science, education and the modern labor market.

GAUGN’s mission is to train not only highly qualified specialists, but also people of wide erudition and high culture.

GAUGN’s president is Alexander Chubarian, academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Historical Sciences, specialist in the modern history of Europe and the history of international relations. On June 12, 2014, Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin presented A. O. Chubarian with the State Prize for outstanding achievements in science and technology, literature and art, as well as humanitarian activities. On May 24, 2017, at the Russian Federation state awards ceremony in the Kremlin, A. O. Chubarian was awarded the "For Merit to the Fatherland" II degree Order.

The university cooperates with 30 foreign universities and research centers.
