In 2019, at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, VEB Innovations, an investment subsidiary of VEB.RF, announced a rebranding and a new strategy. The company is now called VEB Ventures and will focus on investing in companies through direct deals as well as through joint venture funds with corporations and other market players. According to the new strategy, by 2024 the amount of investments will be 36 billion rubles.
