Rospatent and Russian Center for Turnover of IP Rights to Launch Pilot Digital Rights Exchange

The Russian Federal Service for Intellectual Property (Rospatent) and the Russian Center for the Turnover of Rights to the Results of Creative Activities (RCIP) are going to create a pilot digital rights portfolio exchange platform.

The parties signed a corresponding agreement on Monday, the RCIP press service said.

Andrei Krichevsky, Chairman of RCIP, is positive that the platform will significantly increase opportunities for all participants of the IP market – research institutes, universities and technology companies. 

"Rospatent and RCIP have signed an agreement on joining efforts to create a digital market of intellectual property rights in the scientific and technological sphere. The cooperation will contribute to the sustainable circulation of such rights, seamless interaction of market participants and the reduction of transaction costs. RCIP and Rospatent intend to create a pilot exchange platform for  technological portfolios of rights," the statement said.
