The new version of the site was developed in cooperation with partner companies — the Skolkovo Innovation Center’s IT team developed a technical solution and Cloud (SberCloud), one of Russia's leading cloud providers with a data center located in the country and compliant with national laws, provided a secure cloud to host the online video platform.
The need to create the theatre’s own portal was dictated, in part, by the difficulties of complying with intellectual property laws. Video recordings of a theatre production is time-consuming in terms of managing copyrights and related rights due to the large number of rightsholders involved in the production who are due royalties. In many respects, legal regulations limit the possibility of full-fledged theatre production broadcasting on third-party resources.
