Russia’s Creative Industries Demand Legislative Regulations for the Industry

Representatives of the creative industries in Russia demanded the development of legislative regulation of the industry. As a result, Russia’s State Duma discussed the creation of an inter-committee platform on this topic, the press service of the Creative Industries Federation reported.
During the meeting, parliamentarians and representatives of the expert community discussed the adoption of a law on creative entrepreneurship and creative industries. A corresponding act would lead to the strengthening of the protection of the creators of intellectual property and entrepreneurs who monetize the results of creative work.
